                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 329 OLD
                   WAUHATCHIE PIKE, BEING ON THE NORTHWEST LINE OF
                   OLD WAUHATCHIE PIKE NORTHEAST OF NEW CUMMINGS
                   ROAD, FROM M-3 WAREHOUSE AND WHOLESALE ZONE TO
                   M-1 MANUFACTURING ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 329 Old Wauhatchie Pike,
                being on the northwest line of Old Wauhatchie Pike
                northeast of New Cummings Road.  Tract No. 4,
                Interchange City-Chattanooga, as shown by plat of
                record in plat book 31, page 99, ROHC; being the
                property described in deed book 3675, page 193,
                ROHC.  Tax Map No. 54-9.6.
               
               
         from M-3 Warehouse and Wholesale Zone to M-1 Manufacturing 
Zone.
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED,  That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
